There are over 20 marketing methods to getting more new patients today, and all of them work (if you do them correctly) but I want to share with you ONE of my favorite ways that works every time.
The reason why this particular method is my favorite is because it takes hardly any time, is easy to do, costs very little, and doesn’t rely on physicians.
Sounds too good to be true doesn’t it?
Before I show you, there is something you must first understand.
There are 3 types of potential patients out there for you. Here they are:
1 Those who NEED you and are actively looking for therapy services.
2 Those who are THINKING about it.
3 Those who don’t even know they need you.
The first group only represents 3-5% of the population at any given moment. They are considered “low hanging fruit” since they are actively pursuing you already (but typically they’ve already gone to see their physician).
The second and third groups represent the largest number of people in any given community at 95-97% combined. This is the group I prefer to go after.
Quite simply, the volume is much greater…and, I discovered a simple trick that attracts them.
I discovered this trick AFTER my first practice failed…ughhh. I used to go knocking on physician office doors ALL the time but since that led to failure I said, “I’m never doing that again.” (That was 18 years ago.)
Now, I only go directly to the 95-97% group.
This is what I do…
I announce, “Free Open Clinic for Those Suffering From ____ ____”
I plugin a specific condition I want to attract (eg. Shoulder Pain, Back Pain, Poor Posture, etc.)
I use 3 very low-cost methods to promote it to those patients I want. And when they come in, I spend less than 15-min face to face to make them a believer and they commit to a program. I have a very high conversion rate. Nearly 100% most of the time.
Even others I have taught this trick to are hitting HIGH numbers their very first time! Like Mindy Murray, OTR. She recently said,…
“Thought I would share our first open clinic stats w/u all from yesterday. We had 18 reserved times, 3NS, 5 very interested and working on details, and 10 on the schedule for Evals 🙂 We are very pleased and already working on the second…! -Mindy Murray, OTR, Kit-therapy.com
…you are probably wondering, “What do you do in those 15-minutes?”
and, “What are the 3 very low-cost methods?”
I wish I could tell you here but it takes about 1-hour to explain. And it requires me to show you some of my techniques so that is why I’m going to reveal my EXACT method at the Private Practice Secrets 2.0 Conference in Maui.
The secret to successfully getting new patients directly from your general community is:
1 You must not highlight “physical or occupational therapy” in your promotions but rather a very specific condition.
2 Know what to say when they call or come in.
3 Utilize my 3 low-cost methods of promotion.
Most practice owners have tried direct marketing tactics before but with lackluster results because…
- They spent too much money on the wrong channels of promotion.
- Didn’t have the right message that attracts.
- And, they completely blow it when someone calls or comes in.
Those who are applying my unusual “Trick” are opening 2nd and 3rd clinics while most practice owners are trying to survive.
So I urge my members to come to Maui from wherever you are–East Coast, Australia, Dubai, Canada, Japan, or Korea.
You can’t keep HOPING for better results when you keep doing the same thing (or nothing at all).
You’ve got to make a change.
You’ve got to take a step in the right direction.
It’s your only chance.
No matter what the cost.
To demonstrate to the universe, and God,
that you want it badly enough…
that you’ll do whatever it takes.
Then, and only then, will you be rewarded with the know-how,
and the courage
to live your potential.
Take action now.
(There’s only a few days before the discount ends.)
Don’t let your potential go wasted.
